With so many versions of Magento available, and with many of them hidden within complex site-structures, it’s often hard to find the version you’re looking for. That’s why we’ve created this handy download resource. Here you can download all open source versions of Magento Community Edition 1.x and 2.x, all the way up to the latest version – Magento 2.4.5. But remember, the Magento downloads here are the free versions only. Magento builds even more features into their flagship product: Magento Commerce. This can be purchased either as the self-host version (Magento Commerce) or as Magento Commerce Cloud – hosted by Magento on their own AWS stack. To find out more about this product take a look here. The free Magento open source versions listed here are, however, a great place start in using Magento. As well as having nearly all the features of Magento Enterprise, you can also download sample data. With these data samples, you can set up a test-store (complete with Luna template), to see exactly how Magento works when stocked with a full inventory of products. Getting prepared for your download Before you begin, please ensure that: Your system meets the requirements set out in: Magento System Requirements You have completed all the tasks set out here: Prerequisites You have set pre-installation ownership and permissions: File System Owner Overview Installing the sample data The sample data in the third column of the download table provides you with the basic code to set up a sample store using the Luma theme. With this, you can see how Magento functions, even if you don’t yet have a product inventory. However, if you want to use the sample store, you will have to pre-install the sample data before installing Magento. If you wish to install the sample data after you have installed Magento, you will have to use third-party software to achieve this. You can post-install the sample data in one of two ways: Composer installer Cloning repositories Version Download Magento 2 Magento+ Sample Data Feature-set Improvements Magento 2.4.5 Download.zip Download.tar.gz Download.zip Download.tar.gz PWA Studio support Support Apple Pay payment Google reCAPTCHA support to Create New Account, Wish List Sharing, and Gift Card forms Magento 2.3.2 Download.zip Download.tar.gz Download.zip Download.tar.gz 75+ Security improvements New Bluefoot Data Migration Tool New Google Shopping ads Channel 1.1.1 Magento 2.3.0 Download.zip Download.tar.gz Download.zip Download.tar.gz New PWA (progressive web applications) tool suite New compability with PHP 7.2 Over 30 core security improvements Magento 2.2.0 Download.zip Download.tar.gz Download.zip Download.tar.gz Enhancements in platform security and developer experience Upgraded technology stack Pipeline deployment enabling separate build stages to run separately Increased performance via optimisations in indexing, cart, and cache operations Magento 2.1.8 Download.zip Download.tar.gz Download.zip Download.tar.gz Enhancements to static content deployment and generation Improvements to indexing of large catalogs, cache tuning, and **URL rewrites Reduction in memory required for mass actions Faster deployment for multi-language sites Magento 2.1.7 Download.zip Download.tar.gz Download.zip Download.tar.gz Resolution of high priority security issues Reversion of changes to image resizing introduced in 2.1.6 Magento 2.1.6 Download.zip Download.tar.gz Download.zip Download.tar.gz Improved performance of category page Optimised image resizing Improved performance of layered navigation Minimised indexing operations after product import Magento 2.1.5 Download.zip Download.tar.gz Download.zip Download.tar.gz This release updates the copyright date in every file.
